Infocomm for Kindergartens of the 21st Century (iK.21) is a project initiated by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore. iK.21 Qoqolo is a mobile portfolio developed by CommonTown under the iK.21 Project.
Qoqolo pioneers the use of mobile technology in the pre-school classroom for portfolio building. It enables teachers or even children themselves to build mobile portfolios with iPads, iPhone or iPod Touch. They can upload their students artifacts, reflections and holistic assessment instantaneously to their m-Portfolios.
This Qoqolo Student App allows parents to access their childrens m-Portfolios, view photos and works of their children via iPhones or iPads. Parents can encourage their children to reflect on their work by recording their reflections via the recording facilities provided in the App.
